JOIN OUR 2022 TOUR TO GHANA

  A drum and dance journey that will change your life! Immerse yourself in the rich and vibrant culture of Ghana, West Africa, in our 2-week drum, dance, and cultural study tour! The tour is organized and facilitated by Ghana’s Only Female Master Drummer, Adwoa Kudoto , her very talented daughter,who is also a dancer/choreographer, Sena Kugbega and her group,DRUMGHANA and Dance Troupe which is comprised of children between the ages of 7 and up who are  from poor families, homeless families and orphans. All classes are held on the beach in the historical town of Cape Coast, Ghana. Tour participants will also learn how drumming and dancing helps empower our spiritual, psychological and interpersonal attitudes towards ourselves and others. This tour is an inspiring opportunity and experience to learn Ghanaian culture through dance, drum, songs and storytelling Dances and drumming taught range from traditional rhythms specific to many Ghanaian ethnic groups, and rhythms of neighboring countries in West Africa, played on kpanlogo, gyembe, dununs, kroboto, Atsimevu,Brekete,Etumpan,Kwadum and other Ghanaian traditional drums. Tour participants also have a chance to volunteer..  Tour participants will also get the opportunity to further explore different parts of ghana including nearby beaches, Cape Coast Castle – infamous for its use in the slave trade, Kakum National Park, and many other breath-taking sights, all of which are included in your tour package.
